Few Characteristic Connectivity Modes Can Reconstruct the Various Synchronization States in Neuron Networks

The simulation of computational model is useful to investigate the mechanisms of brain activity. It takes much time to simulate the detailed brain network using biological neuron model depending on the complexity of model and the size of connectivity matrix. In this study, we proposed the mode-based dimension reduction method of connectivity matrix and reproduced several synchronization phenomena. Our proposed method is capable of reconstructing synchronization features with low dimensional computational complexity.
