Angle Tunable Kirigami-Hinged Mirror Array for Autostereoscopic Display Using Double Reflection

We have achieved a double-reflection type autostereoscopic display using a mirror array with out-of-plane deformable “kirigami hinge”. The kirigami hinge is a hinge structure that can tilt multiple mirrors in a batch by stretching both ends of the device, and the tilt angle can be controlled independently by the stiffness of the kirigami hinges. In addition, a mirror array with two different tilt angles is enabled to achieve an autostereoscopic display by double reflection. From above, we devised and achieved tilt mirrors with two different tilt angles in a batch using a kirigami hinge.
