A Searchable Encryption Scheme Supporting Dynamic Data Management in Industrial Internet of Things

In the Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), large volumes of data generated by sensors and devices are crucial for improving automation, intelligence, and production efficiency. However, traditional dynamic searchable encryption schemes face challenges in data updates, flexible user revocation, and forward security in large-scale, multi-user environments. This study outlines a secure dynamic data management scheme in IIoT, enabling dynamic updates and efficient management while protecting data privacy. A two-level chain index structure is used to handle data updates and deletions, improving search efficiency. A scalable group key exchange protocol is also integrated, supporting flexible user revocation without high communication costs or complex key redistribution. The scheme is proven to resist keyword guessing attack, ensuring forward security. Experimental results show that it offers better efficiency and practicality in computation and communication compared to existing models, making it suitable for large-scale data management in IIoT.
