Raspberry Pi Pico W as a Web Server

This paper presents an application where the Raspberry Pi Pico W is configured as a web server. It is controlled by a smartphone using the Wi-Fi connectivity. For this purpose Raspberry Pi Pico W needs the credentials of the network to be connected. The paper presents two solutions for this request that do not need entering in the Python program that is running on Raspberry Pi Pico W. One uses a PC terminal to connect to Raspberry Pi Pico W while the other uses the smartphone while Raspberry Pi Pico W generates its own Wi-Fi network. Furthermore, the elements that are necessary to power the device by an external source are also presented. The work combines some known techniques to obtain the results. Thus it has an important educational purpose and can be used as a learning tool.
