A Method of Array Gain and Phase Error Calibration and Direction of Arrival Estimation for Uniform Linear Array

In this paper, we consider the problem of array gain-phase error self-calibration and direction of arrival (DOA) estimation for uniform linear arrays. We propose a new method combining virtual array transformation with existing methods. The proposed method can effectively calibrate the array gain-phase error and perform high-precision DOA estimation independent of the array phase error. The simulation results prove the effectiveness of the proposed method.
