Research on the Application of Magnetic Effect Perception System for Detecting Loose Bolts in Transmission Towers

In real-life production activities, many accidents are caused by poor maintenance of wind turbine towers. To address this issue, various methods have been developed. These include the tapping screw sound testing method, the wrench tightening inspection method, and the electrostatic detection instrument method. However, given the large number of bolts on transmission towers and the difficulties associated with manual inspection, existing bolt evaluation methods are insufficient for determining bolt loosening on transmission towers. The magnetic induction switch, characterized by its rapid response and low cost, does not require contact with the object being inspected. It can convert received signals into switch quantity electrical signals through magnetic induction, providing them to the control system, thus achieving the goal of evaluating bolt loosening on transmission towers and solving the problem of low efficiency in existing manual inspection methods. This study, through research and simulation on the mechanism of magnetic effect perception of nut rotation, constructs a non-contact magnetic-triggered loosening monitoring perception system based on low-power wireless transmission and optimized sensor design.
