Method and Implementation of Batch Renaming for Structure Trees Based on CATIA V6 Secondary Development

This paper proposes a method for batch renaming objects for structure trees based on CATIA V6 secondary development. By activating the renaming function in the 3D view, the components to be renamed are selected, and the naming objects and types are filtered as needed. After customizing the new names, the changes are previewed and applied. This method supports standardized naming conventions such as prefixes, suffixes, and serial numbers, reducing the burden of manual renaming for designers, improving the consistency and accuracy of naming, and significantly enhancing the overall quality and efficiency of large-scale design projects in CATIA V6.
