Assessment of Electricity Service Capacity in Rural Areas of China under Low-carbon Transformation

With the deepening low-carbon transition and rural economic development, China’s rural modernization has raised new demands for electricity supply services. This study constructs a multidimensional indicator system for rural electricity supply carrying capacity from three dimensions - stress tolerance (S), pressure (P), and adjustment capacity (A) - incorporating the electricity consumption characteristics of new rural industries. By integrating the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) with Random Forest algorithm for indicator weight determination and optimization, this paper establishes an assessment model and conducts empirical case studies. The findings inform targeted strategies to enhance rural electricity service transformation.
