Reliability Assessment Method of Virtual Power Plant Cluster Considering Uncertain Factors

With the continuous improvement of new energy utilization technologies, the interactive integration of new energy power generation and distribution networks has become an important research direction. Virtual power plants are one of the important research contents, and the research on their reliability has become a hot topic for scholars in recent years. In this paper, considering the internal components of virtual power plants, micro power generation units, energy storage resources, and flexible load resources comprehensively, a virtual power plant aggregation reliability assessment method is proposed. This method defines multiple reliability indicators, which can be used to evaluate the independent reliability of various resources and the reliability after virtual power plants aggregation. This method is easy to use and has strong universality. At the same time, this paper further considers the uncertainty of renewable energy within virtual power plants, proposes the insufficient electricity quantity as the reliability indicator, and uses the sequential Monte Carlo method to evaluate the reliability of renewable energy. Finally, through simulation experiments, the validity of the model is verified.
