Unveiling Risk Evolution Mechanisms Driven by Deepfake Technologiest

With the rapid development of artificial intelligence technology, deepfake technology has increasingly penetrated into the media communication ecology, reconfiguring the visual landscape and social trust structure. Based on landscape society theory and risk society theory, this paper systematically explores the alienation of media landscape and the cracking of trust structure triggered by deepfake technology, and constructs a model of risk evolution mechanism of technology-trust-perception-system. Deepfake technology changes the logic of information production and perception, which triggering a breakdown of trust at every levelȔindividual, media, and institutional. Those level further fuels a broader crisis of systemic social trust. This paper proposes future-oriented governance paths and trust reconstruction mechanisms, providing theoretical and practical insights for ethical AI applications.
