Wireless IoT Monitoring System for Biomedical Signals in Healthcare Applications

This paper presents a novel framework for an IoT-based health monitoring system with the aim of improving healthcare applications. The system is built around three main components: information collecting, analysis, and notification administration. Important health data is continuously acquired by wearable and implanted sensors and sent to a cloud-based platform through a Local Processing Unit (LPU) or gateway. While this data is analyzed by the cloud layer, an integrated diagnostic module evaluates the patient's vitals in real-time. The architecture ensures data security through multi-occupant storage separation, protecting critical patient information. Additionally, it improves patient safety with an alarm system that promptly notifies healthcare providers and family members of any emergencies. The system's capacity to revolutionize remote health monitoring is supported by experimental results that validate its high reliability and precision. Continuous, realtime health tracking and proactive intervention are the goals of this IoT-based health monitoring system, which seeks to improve healthcare outcomes and patients’ quality of life. The quality of care for patients has been greatly enhanced.
