Pole optimization of Bilinear-Laguerre model using PSO method: Application to the 2-DOF helicopter system

This paper presents the pole optimization of the Bilinear-Laguerre model using the Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) method. The optimization process aims to improve the dynamic performance of the system by adjusting the pole locations, thereby enhancing the accuracy and stability of the model. The approach is validated through simulations on a 2 Degree-Of-Freedom helicopter system. The results demonstrate the effectiveness of the PSO method in obtaining optimal pole placements, which lead to improved system behavior and performance.
