Determining the Number and Placement of Lighting Fixtures and a Mathematical Model Using MatLab

Today, computers are essential to all scientific fields, including technical sciences. This article uses MatLab, a software program, to calculate the quantity and placement of lighting fixtures in a space. To achieve this goal, we created a simulation block model in the MatLab environment. Compared to traditional numerical methods, which involve a lot of manual computations and coding, the Simulink environment has advantages. Its user-friendly interface and several block diagrams enable parameter tweaking and real-time visualization. As a result, it is among the widely used and user-friendly simulation analysis software. Using MatLab, modeling processes and phenomena from everyday human life is easy and reliable.
