An Analysis of the Influence of Group Perception Tools on Students' Knowledge Construction and Development in Online Collaboration and Interaction

The application of group perception tools in online collaborative learning can effectively promote collaboration and interaction, and to some extent solve the practical problems of "no collaboration, no collaboration construction or low construction level" in online collaborative learning. However, the current research mainly focuses on the development of group perception tools and their overall impact on collaborative learning, while the mechanism of students' detailed knowledge construction process remains unclear. The design of this paper covers the integration of multiple types of group perception tools into knowledge construction activities to carry out research, and uses social cognitive network characteristics (SENS) to analyze collaborative interaction behaviors. The results suggest that not only do group perception tools promote equal levels of participation and interaction in online collaboration, which in turn triggers the development of high levels of knowledge construction; but also that the use of group perception tools enhances the ratio of learning inputs to knowledge artifacts and produces more positive emotions in learners.
