Breaking the Digital Grip: AI Models for Evaluating the Internet and Mobile Addiction Across All Age Groups

With the advent of smartphones and the quick rise of the internet, it has caused everyone in all age brackets to become more digitally dependent. It is a project named ‘Breaking the Digital Grip: AI Models for Evaluating the Internet and Mobile Addiction in AllAge Groups’, to create an AI based solution to assess and manage the internet and mobile addiction. Surveys using the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) collect data on user behavior in order to analyze user behavior, and machine learning models classify addiction levels as low, average or high. It offers personalized intervention strategies including self regulation techniques, screen time management tips and alternative offline activities, to assist people to find a healthy measure in between digital engagement and real world engagements. Using an AI powered predictive analysis, the project discovers existing nearby of addiction and would serve alerts in a timely manner, thereby improving digital well being as well as mental health. It is to come up with a sustainable solution, but at the same time give people the possibility to use technology responsibly and enjoy a balanced life.
