Simulation Design and Experimental Study of an Ultrasonic Levitation Transducer

Ultrasonic levitation technology has broad application prospects in various fields such as pharmaceutical processing, mechanical assembly, chip transportation, and precision instrument fabrication. The ultrasonic transducer is the energy supply device for acoustic levitation technology, and its performance directly affects the transmission effect of ultrasonic levitation. For normal energy supply in ultrasonic processing and acoustic levitation, the design of piezoelectric transducers is crucial. Therefore, this study designs an ultrasonic transducer for ultrasonic levitation to improve the quality and efficiency under actual working conditions. The theoretical analysis is carried out, followed by the modeling of the ultrasonic transducer and finite element solution. Finally, experiments are conducted on the transducer, and the longitudinal vibration displacement amplitude of the actual transducer is compared with finite element simulation results, which demonstrate the rationality of the structural design of the transducer's components.
