Automatic Calculation Method and System for Relay Protection Setting of the New Energy Power Station

With the continuous expansion of the power grid scale and the extensive integration of new energy, the operation mode of the system become increasingly complex, and the task of relay protection setting calculation has multiplied. Traditional manual setting calculation methods are time-consuming and costly, and the accuracy is often limited by calculation errors. Moreover, most of existing setting calculation software is mainly targeted at transmission lines and converting substations, with few research at new energy stations such as wind power. Therefore, an automatic calculation method and system for relay protection setting in new energy station suitable for large-scale power system is proposed in this paper, which can significantly improve calculation efficiency, effectively eliminate calculation errors, and ensure the stable operation of the system.
