Green Citizen: An E-waste Disposal and Recycle Assistance Smartphone Application With ecycle Center Search, Pickup Schedule, Sales Features

The environment and human health may suffer significantly from inappropriate disposal or recycling methods when dangerous materials are present in e-waste. The current works on e-waste disposal and recycling assistance did not develop an automated mobile or web application with features for e-waste item detection, recycling company and disposal center search, pickup schedule, civic guard reporting, e-waste item sales and donation, volunteer registration, e-waste-related queries, e-waste consciousness, and job search. This paper discloses a smartphone application for e-waste disposal assistance that includes a recycling company, disposal center, e-waste pickup schedule, e-waste item detection, consciousness checking, sales, and donation features; civic guard reporting; voluntary work assistance; question posts, advertisements, e-waste job searches; and blog access features. The app features essense and significance analysis results exhibited that more than 61% reviewers submitted uppermost grade about the app features.
