X-Shaped Dual Band Metasurface for Wi-Fi 6E/7 and Radar Applications

This manuscript designs and analyses an X-shaped metasurface for high data rate applications. The reflection and transmission coefficients of the metasurface are analysed using the design parameters such as resonator length, substrate dimension and angle of incidence, etc. It is observed that the proposed metasurface exhibits operating frequencies of 6.7 GHz and 10 GHz at a reflection level of -46 dB and -52.3 dB and a bandwidth of 0.6 GHz and 2 GHz, respectively. Further, it is observed that the response of the metasurface is stable for a wide range of incident angles. The investigation of the proposed metasurface is performed in CST Microwave Studio using the Finite element method.
