Development and Realization of a Low-Power 4-Bit Binary Input Seven-Segment Display Controller Using 18nm FinFET Technology

This plan concentrates on the design and implementation of a seven-segment display controller that operates using a 4-bit binary or BCD (Binary-Coded Decimal) input. Designed using 18nm FinFET technology, this fundamental combinational circuit efficiently translates binary-coded values into segment activation patterns for numerical display, making it essential for applications such as digital clocks, calculators, and embedded systems requiring real-time numeric representation. Additionally, this design can be seamlessly integrated with sequential circuits to enable automated processes like counters and timers, enhancing the functionality of digital display systems through a combination of combinational and sequential logic.
