Research on CAN Bus and TPMS Fuzzy Testing Technology in Intelligent Connected Vehicles

Fuzzy testing technology is an efficient technique for discovering unknown network security vulnerabilities in information technology equipment. Based on a practical scenario of black box attacks on intelligent connected vehicles, this paper takes CAN bus and tire pressure monitoring system as physical interfaces and sensor attack entrances, respectively, to study the role of TPMS fuzzy testing technology in intelligent connected vehicle network security testing. Among them, CAN bus fuzz testing can discover CAN bus data frames that cause abnormal phenomena in vehicles, and tire pressure monitoring system fuzz testing can discover abnormal data messages that tamper with tire pressure and temperature data.
