Dynamic Resource Allocation for VLC/WiFi Networks Based on Self-Adaptive Weighting Algorithm

With the rapid development of technologies such as the Internet of Things (IoT) and cloud computing, visible light communication (VLC) technology has attracted widespread attention. In this study, a dynamic resource allocation algorithm is proposed that can fulfill various user requirements. The algorithm integrates the proportional fairness (PF) algorithm and the weighted fair queuing (WFQ) algorithm. The simulation outcomes show that the suggested approach is efficient, with the enhanced algorithm achieving greater fairness and increased throughput when compared to conventional algorithms.
