Energy-Efficient Lighting Control in Road Tunnels

The report examines a photometric system for controlling and monitoring tunnel lighting, which, through ongoing measurement of the adaptive luminance $L 20$ of the tunnel entrance environment and the luminance of the road Lth after the tunnel entrance, provides dimming of the lighting system in accordance with the degree of wear of the light sources and the intensity of traffic. The system provides an energyefficient mode of operation of LED luminaires and prolongs their life.
