Simulation Modeling of Reference Time Scale Transmission Line

The article presents the preliminary results of simulation modeling of the reference time scale transmission line, which connects a client of a multiservice communication network to the time and frequency standards of UTC laboratories. The modeling task arose from a discussion of the ever-increasing technical demands for synchronization systems and the current realities of their operation. This model has a high level of abstraction and is intended to serve as the top level of more detailed simulation model. It combines various approaches to assessing the quality of service and stability of synchronization systems. The simulation was conducted in the AnyLogic environment using statecharts. A description of the model's structure, the main output metrics, and the directions of further development of the model are provided.
