Evaluation of the Numerical Value and Type A Standard Uncertainty of Repeated Observations from Their Extreme Values

Situations are listed when, during repeated measurements, it is impractical or impossible to record all the results of observations, but only their minimum and maximum values. The possibility of determining an estimate of the numerical value and standard uncertainty of type A from the range of repeated observation results, taking into account their number and distribution law, is considered. An example of evaluation type A measurement uncertainty at hygrometer calibration is considered.
