Enhancing Threat Detection and Data Protection in Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM Ecosystem

The rapid evolution of customer relationship management (CRM) systems has introduced new challenges related to data security, privacy, and threat management. Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM, as a leading cloud-based platform, manages vast amounts of sensitive customer and organizational data. Traditional security mechanisms are no longer sufficient in mitigating sophisticated cyberattacks targeting CRM data. This paper explores the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) within the cybersecurity framework for Dynamics 365. We propose an AI-driven architecture that leverages anomaly detection, behavioral analysis, and predictive modeling to enhance security operations and proactively defend against evolving threats. A case study demonstrates AI-enhanced cybersecurity in Dynamics 365 with Microsoft Defender for Cloud Apps and Azure Security Center. Key advantages, limitations, and future research directions are also discussed.
