Research on Intelligent Remote Monitoring System for Shearers Based on Domestic Software and Hardware

To address the issue that most current remote monitoring systems for shearers in China rely on imported hardware and configuration software, an intelligent remote monitoring system for shearers based on domestic software and hardware was designed. The system hardware utilizes an FT-2000+/8-core processor paired with the domestic Galaxy Kylin operating system. Software development employs open-source VUE and Flask frameworks to achieve a front-end and back-end separation. First, the overall architecture of the monitoring system was constructed, and the functional requirements of the intelligent remote monitoring system were outlined. Next, a Web-based remote monitoring system for shearers was developed, proposing an automatic cutting method for shearers that combines a 3D geological model with a 22-quadrant cutting approach, along with a logical model for the database. Finally, relevant experiments were conducted, and the results demonstrate that the designed intelligent remote monitoring system based on domestic software and hardware can achieve real-time monitoring and control of coal mining operations.
