Enhancing Emerging Trends in Underwater Acoustic Communication Systems with Queuing Models

Underwater acoustic communication (UAC) plays a crucial role in applications such as oceanographic data collection, underwater sensing, and unmanned vehicle operations. However, challenges such as limited bandwidth, variable propagation conditions, and high delays hinder its performance. This study explores how advanced signal processing techniques and emerging communication technologies can enhance UAC systems. Through experimental evaluations, the proposed models demonstrate significant improvements in packet arrival rates, reduced transmission delays, and minimized network congestion. Performance metrics such as queue length, delay, and throughput are analyzed, with results showing a increase in throughput and a reduction in delay compared to conventional methods. These findings highlight the potential of innovative communication techniques in improving the efficiency and reliability of UAC systems.
