Aerodynamic Wing Flutter Control using IMU Sensor

This project intends to implement a prototype model of an aircraft wing’s flap control to counteract forces during cruise. The wing design is based on NACA 2412 aerodynamic wings. The MPU 9250, which combines a 3-axis accelerometer, gyroscope, and magnetometer, is employed to monitor the orientation of the aircraft in real-time. A proportional controller logic is used to adjust the flaps on the wing in the opposite direction to counteract the forces, where the servo motor attached to the flaps readjusts itself. This solution aims to improve flight stability and aircraft performance, especially for autonomous flight systems.
