A Smart Device for Women Safety using IoT

In every aspect, the world is turning into a dangerous place for women. Crimes against girls are on the rise. The rise in crime has made working women less secure. This study offers a quick response method to assist women in need. A girl will be able to push a button to expose her whereabouts if she senses that someone is following her. The information are sent as an SMS alert to predetermined numbers based on the scale and longitude. The ESP32 is the microcontroller in use. It has a push-button interface, a 16x2 LCD display, a GPS, module, and sensors like accelerometer and ultrasonic sensors. The GPS module and GSM module transfers the user coordinates to the registered phone number when a button is pressed. The "C" programming language is used to create the software program. When the ultrasonic and accelerometer sensors senses danger as per given set of instructions it alerts the surroundings with a buzzer sound and sends alert message and location details to the registered number. This application aims to provide ladies with a sense of security.
