Feedback Simulation using IMU and Servo Motor

This paper explores the development and implementation of a feedback simulation glove to enhance immersion in VR and AR applications. The glove featuresan MPU9250 9-DOF Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), servo motors, potentiometers, and flexes sensors. Combined with an ESP32 microcontroller unit (MCU), these components enable precise motion tracking and realistic tactile feedback. The methodology section details the rationale for material selection, integration procedures, and calibration steps. Experimental results, presented with diagrams and charts, demonstrate the glove’s functionality. The discussion interprets these results, compares the glove with existing solutions, and addresses potential limitations. The findings contribute to the advancement of tactile simulation technologies, paving the way for future developments in VR and AR.
