Bluetooth Controlled Arduino-based Robotic Arm for Object Pick and Place

Technology has improved human lives in every aspect since ancient times. At the height of technology and innovation, systems and designs akin to human skills are combined into working activities to meet the rapidly growing needs of humans. While meeting these needs and improving daily life, robotic arm experiments are important. Users can manipulate robot arms or follow preprogrammed commands. Robot arms are widely employed in industry and medicine. Technology development is keeping pace with the rising needs of humanity. This paper addresses the inefficiency and inaccuracy of manually controlled operations in object handling and describes the development of an Arduino-controlled robotic arm that can efficiently pick and place objects. The proposed system implements a Bluetooth-controlled Arduino-based robotic arm for precise object pick and place tasks. It aims to enhance accessibility, reduce human risk in repetitive tasks, and offer a cost-effective solution for real–world environments. The robot arm uses 5 servo motors to move upward, downward, left, and right at a specified angle according to mobile app commands.
