Development of a Gas Leakage Detection Device for Wireless Sensor Network based on QS-QR-ELM

In order to avoid potential dangers, it is essential to install gas leak detection systems in homes and businesses that use natural gas or LPG appliances. A wireless safety gadget that can detect gas leaks and provide real-time concentration monitoring is the focus of this investigation. A specific sensing circuit determines the gas concentration in real time, and the system consists of sending and receiving modules. An alarm is triggered and a signal is transmitted to the receiver module to activate both visual and audible notifications if the detected level surpasses a threshold that the user has chosen. As an added bonus, the receiver module may double as a handheld alarm, giving you even more versatility. Using k-Means for picture segmentation and the GLCM for feature extraction, the suggested method incorporates preprocessing, segmentation, character extraction, and model training. In order to determine how well the model performs, it compare it to two well-known models—ELM and CNN—and use OS-QR-ELM. Both models are outperformed by the suggested method in terms of accuracy and reliability, according to the results. This research highlights the importance of gas leakage detection using modern sensor technology and machine learning. It provides a flexible solution to improve safety in residential, industrial, and manufacturing settings.
