Triple Branch MRC Receivers Under Spatial Interference Correlation and Nakagami Fading

The paper examines the performance of Triple Branch MRC receivers in the spatial interference correlation and Nakagami-m fading environment. Taking into consideration the drawbacks and limitations of the existing models for fading and interference, we implement a full-scope simulation setup that includes these two parameters. As such, the critical performance indicators, namely, outage probability, error probability, and system capacity, are evaluated for a range of Nakagami-m values and varying coherence interference. The outcomes indicate that higher cohesively values, associated with lighter fading conditions, contribute to compromised system reliability, ensuring reduced outage and error probabilities along with the enhanced system capacity. With increasing correlation of spatial interference, the metrics are adversely affected, which stresses the necessity of the optimal placement and directionality of antennas. Therefore, the outcomes represent the essential findings for the creation and extrapolation of the operation of the advanced MRC systems, which is critical for supporting the functioning of the future wireless networks.
