Design of Automatic Battery Replacement Device for AGV Forklift Based on Collaborative Motion Control

In industrial automation scenarios, the efficient operation of AGV forklifts places high demands on battery replacement technology. This paper studies the automatic battery replacement device for AGV forklifts. A device including a battery car, a lifting component and a push-pull component is designed, and a collaborative motion control algorithm is constructed. The simulation software is used to build an accurate model and set a variety of simulation conditions, such as simulating different docking errors, battery weight changes, etc. Under the docking error of $\pm 30 \mathrm{~mm}$, the simulation results show that the battery replacement time is shortened from an average of 3 minutes in the traditional method to $\mathbf{1. 2}$ minutes, a $\mathbf{6 0 \%}$ reduction; the docking accuracy reaches $\pm 3 \mathrm{~mm}$, which is about $83 \%$ higher than the traditional method; the battery displacement error is stably controlled within $\pm 1.5 \mathrm{~mm}$, which greatly reduces the risk of battery collision. The research results effectively improve the efficiency and safety of AGV forklift battery replacement and provide innovative ideas and methods for the field of automatic battery replacement.
