Enhancing Coverage and Energy Efficiency in B5G Networks through Hexagonal Tiling and FT-S2ES Strategy

Ensuring comprehensive coverage and energy efficiency remains a big problem in Beyond 5G (B5G) networks. For this is the time when the demand for communication with extremely high dependability and low latency is growing. To solve these problems, the author of this work proposes a novel solution based on the Fault Tolerant Scalable Small cell Energy Saving Strategy (FT S2ES), which exploits hexagonal tiling. Hexagonal tiling approach is improved through the optimization of cell placement to achieve cell-to-cell spacing that serves as the tradeoff for maximum network coverage. This method also minimizes signal overlap and coverage gaps to the largest extent. The FT-S2ES method at once intelligently optimizes the power consumption of tiny cells, to the point that energy savings can occur without sacrificing performance and dependability. The simulation result demonstrates that the network throughput is increased, coverage enhanced, and the amount of energy consumption is reduced, compared with the traditional approaches. From these data we can see that the model provided is a good B5G networks model for high capacity and reliable energy efficiency in communication.
