Graph Neural Network Analysis Techniques for Power Flow Analysis

This paper studies stability analysis using graph methods for electricity distribution networks. The spanning tree approach is used for modeling the grid in terms of graph nodes that represent diverse components of the system and edges that present the flow of power. It examines the stability issue, especially when the dynamics are nonlinear and have disturbances. The study uses spectral graph theory and Graph Neural Networks (GNNs) to monitor voltage instability, load balancing, and fault propagation and to predict power flow and optimize grid functions using MATLAB and Simulink simulation This demonstrates that graph-based approaches offer more robust, scalable, and efficient solutions to real-time monitoring, fault detection, and grid reliability.
