Probabilistic Static Voltage Stability Assessment of Power Systems with Different Sampling Methods

Probabilistic static voltage stability assessment is important for analyzing the operation stability of power systems with increasingly complex operating environment and various uncertain factors. This paper analyses the influence of random factors on voltage stability based on probabilistic power flow, and compares Simple Random Sampling (SRS), Latin Hypercube Sampling (LHS) and Sobol Sequence in different sampling efficiency. Through simulation analysis with IEEE 118-bus system, the probability density curves and cumulative probability distribution curves of voltage stability critical point and probability index for stable operation of power system are analyzed, and the accuracy and efficiency of different sampling methods are compared.
