Vulnerability Assessment of Distribution Network Nodes Based on Entropy Weight-CRITIC Method

With the expansion of the scale of the distribution network, the possibility of the failure of the distribution network is getting higher and higher. To provide better protection, it is increasingly important to accurately identify the nodes with higher vulnerability in the distribution network. In this paper, the improved node vulnerability assessment is proposed. Firstly, the node vulnerability indices include the improved degree of node, the improved betweenness of node, the node active power degree and the node power flow change entropy, which are calculated based on the complex network theory and risk theory. Secondly, the entropy weigh-critic method and analytic hierarchy process are used to determine the objective and subjective weights of the node vulnerability indices. Then the comprehensive weight of each index is calculated by the combination weighting method. Finally, the vulnerable nodes are sorted by the Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution. Taking the IEEE-33 bus system as an example, the results show that the improved node vulnerability assessment method can reflect the importance of distribution network nodes from both structural and operational aspects. It can also assign weights to each index appropriately, and consider the influence of multiple indices and their weights comprehensively, thereby identify the vulnerable nodes effectively.
