Optimal Pre-Disaster Deployment of Mobile Energy Storage Systems with Thermostatically Controlled Load Coordination

Under ice and snow disasters, ensuring temperature stability within user activity zones is critical for maintaining the living environment. To achieve this purpose, this study proposes a two-stage robust optimization model to minimize the expected load loss. This is a forward-looking strategy that integrates weather forecasts and distribution network operation data to pre-deploy mobile energy storage systems and regulate controlled loads to enhance the resilience of the distribution system to extreme weather events. Finally, an example is given to verify the effectiveness of the model.
