Motion Study of Multibody Systems Based on Multi-objective Optimisation and Collision Detection

This paper focuses on the motion characteristics of complex multi-body systems, and uses mathematical modelling to analyse the motion trajectories of the systems in different contexts. Firstly, this paper constructs the motion path model of the multi-body system, describes the motion of the leader body through the polar coordinate system, and determines the position of each subsystem and the corresponding motion speed; secondly, collision detection is carried out, and the moment of collision and the termination speed of each subsystem are computed; lastly, the path steering strategy of the multi-body system is optimised to ensure that the overall travel speed is maximised. The results show that there is a specific law between path curvature and collision distance, and the path steering can be effectively optimised by the geometric model. The present model has high computational efficiency and demonstrates a wide range of potential in practical applications.
