Numerical Simulation Algorithm of Incompressible Optical Fluid Motion Based on Data Assimilation and Its Application

Incompressible optical fluids have attracted much attention because of their wide applications in optical equipment cooling, microfluidic technology, biomedical imaging and other fields. In this study, the traditional Navier-Stokes equation and optical flow method are combined to establish a mathematical model including the interaction between light and fluid, and the propagation and influence of light in fluid are described by introducing the light intensity transmission equation and the optical flow effect force term. To enhance the accuracy and reliability of simulations, this study designs a hybrid filtering method that combines Ensemble Kalman Filter (EnKF) with Particle Filter (PF) to achieve more efficient and precise data assimilation. In the application example of dam flood discharge, the algorithm significantly improves the prediction accuracy of optical fluid dynamics, and provides an important reference for the safe operation of dams. By simulating the optical fluid behavior under different flood discharge schemes, engineers can choose the best scheme, reduce the impact on the environment and improve the safety monitoring ability. This study not only improves the accuracy and efficiency of simulation, but also provides strong technical support for the safety management and optimal design of water conservancy projects.
