Research and Application of Slope Deformation Detection in Hydropower Stations Based on 3DGIS

The slope of hydropower projects may face risks such as landslides and collapses due to the effects of water pressure, seepage, and other forces. Therefore, scientific and reasonable regular deformation analysis of monitoring data is an important means to ensure the operation and maintenance of the entire project. This article first establishes an equipment management software platform for hydropower dams based on 3DGIS. Then, various hardware devices for slope monitoring were used to collect various vector/raster data for one-dimensional, two-dimensional, and three-dimensional visualization, spatial analysis, and deformation detection. In particular, three-dimensional volume difference calculation was carried out for multi period remote sensing image, three-dimensional deformation detection algorithm based on slope improved Kriging algorithm, and slope landslide detection based on YOLO were studied and applied. These algorithms in this article have been used in multiple hydropower dam projects in China, and the experimental results have verified its applicability. It has certain reference value for the deformation detection of slopes in hydropower station.
