A Real-Time High-Temperature Bleed Air Leakage Monitoring Method Based on High-Precision Temperature Field Reconstruction

The bleed air leakage monitoring System, primarily designed for detecting high-temperature bleed air leakage in aircraft, is critical to ensure aviation flight safety. Existing monitoring methods for bleed air leakage suffer from issues such as missed detection, slow response time, and poor localization accuracy. This paper proposes a novel leakage monitoring method that employs a distributed temperature sensing network constructed using a grating array fiber with 2.5 cm spacing. Combined with a hybrid basis function interpolation algorithm, the method achieves high-precision reconstruction of the full-field temperature distribution from sparse temperature data, enabling rapid detection of minor temperature anomalies. Experiments on high-temperature bleed air leakage monitoring demonstrate that the proposed method identifies leaks within 60 seconds of occurrence, with a localization error of less than 1 cm for the leakage center, significantly improving both localization accuracy and response speed. This study provides a high-reliability, full-pipeline-coverage solution for safety monitoring in aircraft bleed air systems.
