Research on Switching Recovery Speed of Chromatic Dispersion-Based Primary/Backup Optical Lines Using OTU Modules

This thesis focuses on the recovery speed of dispersion during the protection switching process of the OTU board card. Dispersion is one of the important parameters in optical communication, which has a significant impact on the quality and distance of optical communication. By controlling the dispersion of the module within a certain range, the transmission quality of optical communication can be guaranteed. In this paper, a communication environment based on the OTU board card is built to simulate the environment where dispersion recovers after an interruption, and the recovery speed of dispersion and related influencing factors during the switching of the main and backup lines are tested.
