Research on the Design of Sidelines in Multibeam Bathymetry Based on Greedy Algorithms andGeometric Reasoning

Multibeam bathymetry, a high-tech method in contemporary basic marine surveying, is widely used in contemporary water depth exploration. Survey vessels need to ensure the quality and efficiency of depth measurement during detection operations. This paper establishes a mathematical model through geometric reasoning and greedy algorithms to present the calculation results of indicators under specific conditions and the optimalsurvey line design strategy. In addition, a planar geometric modeland a spatial geometric model for designing survey lines during multibeam bathymetric surveying are established.
