Research on Data-Driven Projectile Trajectory Prediction Methods

In addressing the issues of projectile trajectory measurement and error factor analysis for air-based airborne platforms, this study focuses on projectiles as the research subject and utilizes a cluster of air-based unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) as the research platform to solve the problem through digital simulation experiments and error analysis. Firstly, by digitally modeling the real-time dynamic measurement of UAV cluster motion trajectories, a noise-free Projectile trajectory is simulated, and a three-dimensional motion trajectory simulation database of the Projectile passing through the UAV cluster is constructed. Subsequently, by fitting the data in the simulation database, an approximate model of the actual Projectile trajectory is obtained. Finally, an error analysis is conducted on the trajectory fitting model to obtain a more accurate ballistic trajectory, thereby determining the spatial pose of the target at a specific moment and achieving accurate prediction of Projectile flight behavior. The results of this study provide important references for research on ballistic testing of air-based platforms.
