Ethics in the Age of Artificial Intelligence

Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies are transforming many sectors by causing radical changes in the modern world. AI solutions that accelerate processes, increase efficiency, and improve decision-making mechanisms in areas such as health, finance, education, and transportation also bring with them important discussions in terms of ethics, security, and social harmony. In this context, the need for AI applications to be developed in a reliable, fair, and transparent manner is becoming increasingly important.The concept of “Responsible AI” aims to design and implement AI in a way that respects human rights, is free from discrimination, is accountable, and is compatible with social values. The neutrality of algorithms, the protection of personal data, and the risk that AI applications may produce biased or erroneous outputs make it necessary to manage this technology in line with ethical principles. Ensuring public trust and increasing social acceptance of AI is a critical requirement for sustainable and successful innovation processes. In this context, various control mechanisms have been developed to ensure the security of AI applications and their compliance with ethical rules.This study examines the necessity of a responsible AI approach, how it should be shaped within the framework of ethical principles, and the security mechanisms used in this context. Considering the long-term societal impacts of AI, the importance of protecting individual rights as well as creating a reliable and sustainable framework for companies and public institutions is emphasized. In particular, the examination of security tools such as Llama Guard is examined, and how they play a critical role in the process of responsible management of AI.
