Distributed Power Sharing Strategy for Stabilization of Onboard Hybrid Energy Storage System

The Hybrid Energy Storage System (HESS) is becoming more common as on-board power sources. The HESS meets the aircraft requirements in different flight phases. The power distribution among different Energy Storage Systems (ESS) is a major issue. In this paper, a virtual droop-passivity based control strategy is proposed. The virtual resistance/capacitance is injected into passivity-based control to response different frequency bands power between different ESS. The large-signal stability of the whole HESS is proved. Finally the effectiveness of the proposed strategy is verified by simulation.
