Disturbance Rejection Optimization for Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor Systems Based on Modified Linear Active Disturbance Rejection Control

Aiming to address the suboptimal performance of the conventional linear active disturbance rejection control (LADRC) method in suppressing higher-order time-varying disturbances, this paper proposes a modified LADRC method (MLADRC) and applies it to the speed control of permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) drive systems. The proposed MLADRC method employs the modified structure linear extended state observer (MS-LESO), which focuses on estimating the lumped disturbance differentiation, effectively suppressing disturbances that the conventional LADRC method fails to mitigate adequately. Additionally, the parameter tuning process of the proposed MLADRC method is simplified using pole placement, and its stability is analyzed. Finally, simulation models for the PMSM drive system are established. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed MLADRC method significantly enhances the disturbance rejection capability of the PMSM drive system.
